The challenge presented to us was modernizing this home's main floor in the Woodbine Beach area of Toronto. Well, of course, we accepted this challenge and got right to it. Working with the homeowners and their designers, we quickly collaborated to create a plan for all the family’s needs. We opened up the back for maximized light, replaced the doors and windows, and upgraded the staircases. Our team moved the formal dining room to the front and reconfigured the space to create a new pantry and closet area. Custom millwork was carefully planned and installed in the kitchen, wet bar, banquette, pantry and closets. Hockey gear now has its own ventilated roll-out storage, and a bike garage tucks away where nobody would ever find it. The kitchen is now a modern chef’s dream, and she’s already producing award-winning pies.
